Matt Brindley was commissioned by the Eumundi Cooperative Community Organisation to design and document a facilities building for recreational vehicle owners, "grey nomads", to be sited adjacent to the Eumundi markets. The adaptive reuse of a shipping container caught the imagination of the Planning Committee. Male and female showers, ambulant toilets and an accessible toilet and shower compartment were planned into a 12m container with skylights to each compartment to provide natural ventilation and avoid lighting use during the day. The national RV association has described its one of the best RV facilities in Australia.
