Jones House

Replacing a 1950's bungalow, this 4 bedroom family home for a growing family has upgraded the street appeal of the street. Its sculptural form invites interest from those passing by as to what goes on internally. Its butterfly roof form gives a hint.

The house has 3 living areas each for a different use. The family room opens to the north backyard while the south living room, facing the street has a fireplace and library shelves for winter evenings. Between the two sits the kitchen with visual connection to both.

The side entry allows visitors to come into a central point where they are allowed access to public zones without passing through private areas. At the upper level, the two living rooms are on the east, while the three bedroom, ensuite, laundry and bathrooms lie on the west. The lower level rumpus room has another office adjacent with its own bathroom and wine cellar.
